Spartans Earn 3–1 Conference Win Over Carmel Christian Varsity Volleyball bounced back in a big way Friday night, earning a 3–1 victory over Carmel Christian at home. The win moves the Spartans to 4–1 on the season and gives the Spartans a strong start to conference play. Senior Kendyl Taylor led the Spartan attack with another impressive all-around performance, finishing with 29 kills, 14 digs, and six service aces. Taylor's six aces also led the team from the service line. Sophomore Riley Fanis helped direct the Gaston Day offense, recording 32 assists while also contributing 10 digs and two aces. The victory was another strong performance at home for the Spartans, who have now won 14 of their last 15 home matches dating back to last season.
