We are excited to announce the hiring of Eliana Moultrie as the next Head Coach of our Varsity Girls Volleyball program. Coach Moultrie brings a strong background in volleyball as both a collegiate student-athlete and coach. Originally from El Paso, Texas, and now a proud member of the Charlotte community, she played four years of collegiate volleyball and later served as an Assistant Volleyball Coach at Johnson C. Smith University. In addition to her coaching experience, Coach Moultrie earned both her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees from Johnson C. Smith, bringing a unique perspective on student development and relationship building. Coach Moultrie is passionate about creating a positive and competitive environment centered on growth, accountability, teamwork, and a love for the game. We are confident that her energy, leadership, and commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the court will continue the strong tradition of Gaston Day Volleyball. Coach Moultrie shared: "I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to join the Gaston Day family. Volleyball has given me so much throughout my life, and I’m excited to pour that same passion into our student-athletes. I can’t wait to build relationships, compete together, and create a culture where everyone feels supported, confident, and proud to be part of our program." Please join us in welcoming Coach Moultrie to the Spartan family. We are excited for the future of Gaston Day Volleyball under her leadership and look forward to the impact she will make within our community. Go Spartans!
